Lomond & Clyde Indoors 2010
IDPB made it’s Grade 1 debut on Saturday 20th March at the Lomond & Clyde Invitational Contest in Glasgow where they placed 2nd to the House of Edgar Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia. The band won the the March, Strathspey & Reel segment of the event. The band would like to thank all the organisors at Lomond & Clyde for organising a great event.
Inveraray Junior Piping & Drumming Competition 2010
Competition will be held in Inveraray Primary School on Saturday 3rd April 2010.
Celtic Connections Concert
As part of the Celtic Connections Festival the IDPB will be performing in concert with the Robert Wiseman Dairies Vale of Atholl Pipe Band on Janaury 16th. Should you wish to purchase tickets they will be available from the Celtic Connections website.

Grade 2 Cowal Champions and Champion of Champions 2009
Inveraray and District completed the Grand Slam of 5 major titles in 2009 on Saturday in Dunoon which is the first time since 2002 that it has been done in Grade 2.

2009 World Grade 2 Champs!
Inveraray and District continued their winning streak in 2009 by winning the World Championship title and drum corps prize in Glasgow Green on August 15th. This was the 4th consecutive major title for the band in 2009, it’s first year in grade 2. We would like to thank everyone for their well wishes and congratulatory e-mails since the big win.

2009 European Champions!
Inveraray and District took their 3rd major championhsip in grade 2 this season at the European Championships in Greenock. The band are looking forward to competing at the Perth Highland Games this weekend followed by two performances in Glasgow (George Square for Piping Live and a performance at the National Piping Centre) on Wednesday 12th August prior to the World Championships on August 15th.
2009 British Champions!
The British Championships in Banbridge, Northern Ireland saw the Inveraray and District take it’s second consecutive major win in grade 2 this season with straight first placings from all the judges. The band is now looking forward to competing at the Balloch Highland Games on July 18th as a warm up for the European Championships on July 25th at Inverclyde.
2009 Scottish Champions!
The first major championship of the season at Dumbarton saw the newly promoted IDPB take 1st overall and 1st in drumming. The video of the winning performance can be seen opposite. The next outing for the band will be on June 13th at the Bearsden Highland Games.
